A 10-week acceleration programme will begin this fall with the participation of the Innovation Agency Azerbaijan, Turan Trade, and Startup Campus, the latter said in a statement.

BP-sponsored Discover Europe-Azerbaijan helps participants to build relationships with key market players, bringing them together with industry mentors, investors, and businesses, to provide them with visibility, it said.

Startup Campus supports the entry of innovative companies into the European market through Budapest via several programmes. With the help of the Discover Europe Programme series, participants can get to know the startup ecosystems of Hungary, Germany, and the United Kingdom, as well as gain business validation in the European market.

The 10-week Discover Europe Azerbaijan Programme teaches entrepreneurs how to find the right European market for them, while providing multidisciplinary insight into key aspects of internationalization. It also helps participants develop a flawless strategy for entering foreign markets.

The programme has two modules: one for youth entrepreneurs that teaches them how to enter a foreign market successfully with an established company, and one for university students where the student will learn how to set up and start their innovative idea with a global mindset from the outset.

In 2021, the first module will take place for young founders. The second module for university students will start in 2022. Startups and innovative SMEs that are interested in the programme can apply via
