Public safety educators can work in fire safety, educating people on how to avoid fires, and what they should do in case of fire. They can also work alongside law enforcement, increasing public awareness around firearms, drugs, and gang involvement, with the aim of reducing civilian involvement and reducing the number of people affected by these.
